what will happen if a glass rod after rubbing with silk is touched with the disc of it.

Answer:

So after rubbing, the glass rod becomes positively charged and the silk gets negative charge. So glass acquires a greater order than silk as electron losses. Therefore, on rubbing, glass gets a positive charge and silk gets a negative charge. On both of them, equal but opposite charges are produced
