what will happen if a positively charge rod is brought near to:
a. a plastic disk

b. a metal wash

b. Metal wash will repel the rod.

Hi friend,


(1)When we carry the positive charge near plastic there is no effect as we know that plastics are insulators and contains no charges.

(2) when we carry the positive charge near the metal the positive charge particles will gets repelled as the metal carries an negative charge.

This is because we know that metal is a conductor and in conduction the electron only flows which becomes negative charge.
