Answer:

Agricultural land is also being lost because it is being converted for other purposes, such as highways, housing and factories. This loss of land is a large issue for agriculture, because it will make it more difficult to produce enough food. One of the major problems facing agriculture is the loss of agricultural land, because as more land is lost, it will become more difficult to produce the amount of food needed to feed the growing human population. ... If this land is lost, people may find it more difficult to find produce, and prices may also rise.If agricultural land decreases it means that the fertility of the soil is vanish. Due to this we can not grow plants for our consumption . So every organism directly or indirectly depend on soil

for eg. in India already maximum amount of land is cultivable which is still not sufficient for the growing population and their growing demands for food grain. To increase the number of food grains we need to increase the agricultural but no more land can be cultivation because of which farmer have started using murder methods of agriculture .. on the other hand if we reduce the cultivable land / agricultural land the production of food grains will also reduce and the growing demands would not take the pace of the reduction of food grains and would lead to starvation among people
