When blood platelets are removed from the body, the viscosity of the blood becomes very less. Blood platelets are responsible for clotting of blood whenever there is an injury in the body.

EXPLANATION:

  • If all the blood platelets are removed, the clotting of blood will not take place whenever there is an injury.
  • This means that the body will keep losing blood and a lot of blood loss will take place. In extreme cases, this may even lead to the death of a person.
