a. If nails are made of plastic they will not grow.

b. Bells are made from metals because when two metals strike with each other produce sound but when wood strikes it doesn't produce sound.

Metals are sonorous but non-metals are not sonorous that's why bells are made from metals and not from wood because it is non-metal.

c. Tongs are tools which is used to grip and lift objects instead of holding them directly with hands.

If it is made of rubber, it would not provide the needed grip to hold an object.

d. Wood is blunt and cannot cut sharp objects. Hence, knife cannot be made of wood.

e. If axe is made of rubber. It cannot cut hard objects.
