What will happen if friction will not act on a moving body??

it will keep on moving as newton's first law says that if a body is in a state of rest it will remain in the state of rest and if it is in a state of  motion it will remain moving in the same direction,with same speed unless an external force is acted on it.(all above happens in the absence of friction)

it would never stop..until an external force would applied on body
