Our resources are limited, but the consumption isn’t.

Down the ages, mankind has been selfishly devouring all the natural resources without any concern for nature.

This not only leads to a depletion of the resources but also leaves a notable number of species bereft of their natural habitat.

Over the years, a notable number of species have gone extinct.

If human beings don't limit their consumption of the resources, the day isn't far that we will find ourselves in a perilous state, amidst a vast void.

There would be shortage of all essential requirement of life, when the number of consumer in environment goes on increases gradually.

Explanation:

If the number of producers as well as the consumers increase in size in then it may not cause any problem. On the other hand, when the consumers alone increase in size, the food produced by the producers may appear insufficient and it may leads to serious condition such as famine and increased death ratio due to non-availability of food, shelter, water etc.
