If there are no platelets in the blood, you are not able to stop brokering for example if you cut your skin you would not be able to stop the bleeding because there are no platelets to induce the clotting action which stops bleeding and loss of blood. The condition is called Thrombocytopenia.

the blood will not clot......when there is an injury the platelets disintegrate and the thromboplastin is released.....it activates thrombokinase.....it activates fibrinogen.......the fiibrin threads entangle and trap blood vessels which plugs the site of injury.....so if there are no platelets the bllod will not clot...in other words....blood will flow out of the wound continuously....
