Bicarbonate will almost entirely get converted to the more stable carbonate with the liberation of carbon dioxide

This reaction may be represented as - 2Na2HCO3 + heat = 2Na2CO3 + H2O + CO2

Hope you understand

Cheers!!!

Here's your answer :

_______________________________________

When Sodium Bicarbonate (NaHCO₃) is strongly heated, it decomposes to form anhydrous sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃).

The following reaction takes place :

2NaHCO₃ (s)  +  heat  ⇒  Na₂CO₃ (s)  +  CO₂ (g) ↑  +  H₂O (g) ↑

Hope it helps..!!!
