If the blow pipe nozzle gets over heated it will cause a collapse in metal blow pipe which can disturb air output function and it will stop functioning.

Blowpipes are used for transferring air into fire for producing high temperature by a process called combustion. These pipes are made with metal or brass which is used for various chemical operations.

In blowpipe nozzles are usually used to get good oxidizing flame which is inserted at the edge of flame which is close to wick.
