What will happen if the Earth does not revolve around the Sun?

will not have the phenomena of day n night , seasons, then we will be not able to experience 366 days that is ,there will be no passing of days etc.....

if earth does not revolve around the sun then i think the effects would be less dramatic......but equally devastating in this alternative case. With no outward centripetal force to compensate for the strong inward tug of the Sun’s gravity, Earth would begin to fall towards the Sun.............. and the most important one we will not able to see day and night
