What will happen if the lysosomes gets ruptured inside a living cell

The cell would increase its acidity by a great amount , which would cause all the organelles inside to break down , as well as DNA , and possibly even the cell membrane . This is the common technique cells use for apoptosis .

Lysosomes- The Suicidal bags of the cell, are present in the cell to destroy it in case of an emergency eg: Infections. When then rupture, they secrete some enzymes that destroy the cell and its orgnelles. This is Done so that the infection does not spread to another cells.
