in hypertonic solution the cell will shrink plasmolysis
in hypotonic solution the cell will expand and may get broken

In hypertonic solution it will shrink as water has tendency to move out of cell due to exosmosis. In hypotonic solution it will swell due to endosmosis. In isotonic solution it will remain the same.
