Answer:

A diamond is a very compressed state of matter and is mainly comprised of carbon molecules joint with very less molecular space. An acid is most likely to not affect the diamond at all.

Answer:

Nothing

Diamond is a Covalent or Network solid. It's bonds are so strong that it is assigned as "Hardest substance on Earth"

Acid (commonly HCl, HBr, H2SO4, HNO3) are reducing agents, they act on unsaturated bonds and provide protons. But The Bond dissociation enthalpy of any C-C bond in diamond is so strong that the resultant structure shall not be enough stabilized. Thus no reaction
