If a plant cell is kept in hypotonic solution, the cell may swell up.
If your question is about how it may effect the plant, I don't think that it will effect the plant in anyway because plant cells have rogi cell wall which created turgor pressure in this situation so that the cell will not burst.

In hypotonic solution the water moves from higher concentration to lower concentration through semi- permeable membrane, so the cell swells up.
