the colour of the copper sulphate solution will change from blue to green and copper will be seen deposited on the iron nails which is seen by the change of colour of iron nails to brown
Equation-
Fe + CuSO4 -------> FeSO4 + Cu
Equation-

✏ when iron nail is put in copper sulphate solution then ferrous sulphate and copper is formed.
Fe + 2CuSo4 --> Fe(So4)2 + 2Cu
✏ the colour of blue copper sulphate solution will change into green solution of ferrous sulphate.
✏ iron displaces copper to form ferrous sulphate. so we can say that displacement reaction had took place.
