What will happen to kinetic energy of a body if it's mass is doubled

If the mass of body is doubled , its kinetic energy also get doubled

we know, K. E = 1/2mv^2
= 1/2* (2m) *v^2
= mv^2.
so, kinetic energy will be double of the previous K. E.
