What will happen to pressure when force is doubled

Hey friend!

Pressure is the force applied perpendicular to the surface of an object per unit area over which that force is distributed.
As pressure is force on a unit area, it depends on what grounds do you double the force..

For example if you double the force and let the area remain constant, then the pressure is doubled.

But if you double force as well as area, then it doesn't change at all it remains the same.

If you double the force and quadruple the area, pressure becomes half and so on.
