Area of rectangle = l* b
so, if length is doubled i.e. 2l
& breadth is triple i.e.3b
then area = 2l * 3b = 6lb

So, 4th one is correct i.e. area of rectangle will increase by 6 times.

6 times more than the area of old rectangle.
That's because,
older rectangle area = l*b
new rectangle area = 2l*3b = 6lb
