There is absolutely no situation whatsoever in which all predators have to be caught.However just to indulge it what would happen is what happened in Yellowstone and various other places where we killed off all the wolves. the deer and other animals had population explosions and ate down a bunch of saplings and made it much harder for new trees to grow because they were eating everything down to the ground. Then, the animals begin to starve to death because there's no food for them left. Predators are absolutely essential to a healthy ecosystem. Plant eaters will not survive in the long run without them.
