The normal physical such as metabolic function gets affected in sunflower and ipomea due to the absence of sunlight.

Explanation:

In sunflower and ipomea, the flower always is seen facing the direction of the sunlight. It is because, the Auxin present in them moves away from the sunlight and releases growth hormone in the regions which is present in shade and this mechanism facilitates the growth of the plant.

When sunlight is not there it will affects aforesaid mechanism due to which the plant growth gets affected.
