answer of a=if dry apricots are left in pure water and later transferred to a sugar solution the apricots become sugar crystals then you can eat the delicious treats.

answer of b=The cell will seek homeostasis and attempt to balance itself with its environment. Since the external environment is more saline than the interior of the cell (hypertonic), the cell will lose water in an attempt to decrease the exterior salinity.

answer of c=When rheo leaves will be boiled, it will shrink due to high temperature. The solute content inside the leaves will come out due to osmosis at first while heating. Further heating and boiling will destroy the cells. Cells will be dead So, after addition of sugar syrup no more osmosis will take place.

a. If dry apricots are left in pure water and later transferred to a sugar solution then the apricot will craeate sugar crystals.

b. If RBC is placed in a concentrated saline water then the exosmosis takes place. Resulting the loss of water by the RBC.

c. During boiling rheo leaf will shrink, leading to loss of water. Also, resulting to destroying the cells of leaf. Adding it to sugar syrup then nothing will happen as cells are already destroyed.
