When we lower the temperature of a gas, we decrease the kinetic energy of the molecules of thegas. And if the gas is compressed simultaneously, then the pressure is being increased and volume is being decreased.

Heya here is your answer
When we lower the temperature of a gas, we decrease the kinetic energy of the molecules of the gas. And if the gas is compressed simultaneously, then the pressure is being increased and volume is being decreased. These factors will bring the molecules of the gas close to each other and the gas will liquify.
Hope it helps u
