What will happen when only one type of crop is cultivates?

if one type of crop is cultivated it leads to the loss of soil's fertility because each type of crop intake or absorb different types of nutrients.if one crop is being cultivated , a same nutrition level gets reduced and if happens repeated the nutrients get exhausted and we may need to replace it by some artificial fertilizers...

when only one crop is cultivated then it is big loss it cannot increase food production and the owner of land cannot take benefits of his land.
