i got an answer for 7cm.

see if u can modify it

The hemispherical bowl has three surfaces to calculate: the interior hemisphere (rint=7cm), the exterior hemisphere (rext=7cm+1cm=8cm), and the annular (ring-shaped) top edge (rext,rint). The area of a hemisphere is 124πr2=2πr2; the area of an annulus is π(r2ext−r2int).

Aint=2πr2int=(2⋅72)π≈307.9cm2

Aext=2πr2ext=(2⋅82)π≈402.1cm2

Aedge=π(r2ext−r2int)=(64−49)π≈47.1cm2

The total area is the sum of these three, 241π≈757.1cm2

Mohityaduvanshi: not right answer
ananthblaze: thats why i asked you to modify the answer
