The genetic nature of plants produced by apomictic embryos is same as that of parents so they can be called as clones.

Ans.

Apomictic embryos are defined as embryos, formed by the asexual reproduction. These embryos develop from somatic cells of plants and do not require fertilization (fusion of male and female gametes). As these embryos are originated from single mother cell, their genetic nature is same as that of mother cell.

Clones are defined as genetically similar organisms, thus, apomictic embryos can be called as clones of their mother same as they are genetically similar to their mother cell.
