For the calculation of the latitude and longitude equator is the line of 0 degree. Each line of the longitude and latitude measures one degree south or north form the equator.

So in the north it goes to 90 degree and same in the south too. Thus the latitude of the north pole is 90 degrees N and likewise the latitude of the south pole is also 90 degrees S.

Thus, a place, which is situated on the South Pole, should have the latitude of 90 degree S. Thus, A) 90° S is the right answer.
