Total Resistance (all in series ) = sum of each = 1+3+2= 6 ohm
V of battery = 3 V
By Ohm's Law, we have : at a constant temperature:
V=IR
I = R/V
I = 6/3 = 2 A
Since the same amount of current passes through each resistor and out in the series circuit, Ammeter will read = 2 A
at across the voltmeter, AB :
I = 2 A
R = 1 ohm
V = I R
V = 2×1 = 2 V
Therefore, the voltmeter will read 2 V
