Answer:

Given :-

Weight of person on earth = 750 N.

W = mg

m = 750/g

Mass of Moon = Mm = 1/81 Me

Radius of Moon = Rm = 1/3.7 Re

As we know that,

gm = GMm/(Rm)²

gm = G(1/81 Me)/(1/3.7 Re)²

gm = 0.169[GMe/(Re)²]

gm = 0.169 g

Wm = m.gm

Wm = 750/g × 0.169 g

Wm = (750 × 0.169)N

Wm = 126.75 N

Hence,

The weight of person on Moon = Wm = 126.75 N
