What would happen if all the seeds of a plant were to fall at the same place below the plant and grow there?

all the seeds of a planned way to fall at the same place below the plant and grow there then there would be deficiency of the mineral in the soil which the plant requires
that is there can be a competition between the plants of same species and further may lead to the death of the plants
so the seeds disperse to the other place and germinate so that they can grow in efficient conditions

I not sure but I think seedlings needs room to grow.They also need lignt and water. Seedlings cannot grow to be healthy plants if they all have to share water and light in a small area.
