plants would not be able to get the food that they need for ssurvival. Then the animals that ate only plants (herbivores) would have nothing to eat, and would then die. After they died then the animals that ate meat and plants (carnivores and omnivores) would also have nothing to eat. Its the food cycle. Nothing on the earth would have anything to eat, so in the end- everything and everyone would die.

Life would come to an end because of two major reasons if this happen.First one is that the plants will not produce food and so the plant will die.therefore herbivores will also die and carnivores will also be dead.so,no one would be left on this planet..Another cause will be lack of oxygen as we get oxygen which is given out by plants during photosynthesis, but if this process is stopped then plants will not liberate oxygen and the oxygen which is already present in atmosphere would be exhausted soon because we require it for respiration and also we would release carbon dioxide into air which now couldn't be converted into oxygen by plants because photosynthesis is stopped,so carbon dioxide in air will increase.since carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas,it will increase the earth's average temperature leading to crisis...in short life would come to an end.
