If sun were to suddenly disappear, Earth and the other planets would retain their forward motion, effectively flying off into outer space in a straight line. No one has any idea what would happen if that occurred. ... Of course, without the Sun none of us would even exist....

if the sun simply "turned off" (which is actually physically impossible), the Earth would stay warm atleast compared with the space surrounding it for a few million years.

but plants can't make their food and they die within few days and due to lack of oxygen we may also die soon.......

light is essential for human development and without light we can't imagine our life.......
