It is not possible because everything which will die is organic

Microbes are important as they are the cleaners of our environment. They decompose dead organisms into organic matter which is beneficial for plants as they get nutrients from dead matter. If dead matter does not get decompose no plant would have existed because they obtained nutrients from dead matter
