If plasma membrane became damaged then the lysosomes present in the cell will burst itself.It contains powerful digestive enzymes which digests the whole cell.Therefore lysosomes are also called suicidal bags.

But i think plasma membrane is a living thing delicate elastic selectively permeable membrane made up of proteins and lipids and is present in both plants and animals if plasma ruptures the cell will be damaged and it will not be able to survive

Plasma membrane is selectively permeable membrane of the cell that maintains its homeostasis. If it ruptures or breakdown the constant internal chemical composition of the cell will be lost and it will not be able to perform its basic functions. Such a cell with ruptured plasma membrane is killed.
