What would happen if the plasma membrane ruthless or break down

plasma memberane  have certain protiens which allow only ffew particles to pass through it. If it ruptures then every substances allow to go inside or outside of the cell Thus it looses its permiablity.

here it goes..

If the plasma membrane reputers Or breaks down the cell wall will not be able to exchange materials from its surroundings by diffusion or osmosis . There after the protoplamic material will disappear and the cell will die.....when the cell breaks down the osmosis can't be occur.
