What would happen if there was no golgi apparatus in the cell?

Without Golgi apparatus cell will lost the ability of storage modification and packing and hence protein can not be transported to various cell organelles and the result will be weakning of cell which leads the cell to die

■The golgi apparatus contains vesicles and folded membranes and is involved in cellular transport.

■The golgi apparatus packages proteins into vesicles inside of the cell before sending them to destinations.

■The golgi apparatus process proteins for secretion that contains enzymes that attach sugar monomers to proteins .

■If the golgi apparatus is not present the packaging and transport of materials would cease to happen.

■So , various substance such as sugar monomers would not be able to be transformed into proper forms for further use.

■Also , if there is no golgi apparatus , the plasma membrane would be affected because it needs to grow larger for cell division .
