If there will be no secondary consumer then there will be an imbalance in the ecosystem

If there were no secondary consumers, the number of primary consumers would reach an alarming rate with them taking up the earth. As there are no secondary consumers there would be no one to eat them there would be no population control. This could also mean a fast depletion of the producers because of over consumption.
