What would happen in the following cases and Why?

a) If you dip the open mouth of glass facing downwards into a vessel filled with water.
b) Tilt the glass slightly in water.​

Answer:

a) The water won't enter the bottle because the air present inside it has it's own pressure.

b) The air inside the bottle escapes as the bottle is tilt and the water after forming some bubbles enters into the bottle.
