The golgi apparatus is a packaging organelle. The golgi apparatus packages proteins into vesicles inside of the cell before sending them to their destinations. The golgi apparatus processes proteins for secretions.

If cell loose it's golgi apparatus then the packaging and dispatching of synthesized materials inside the cell will stop. And it also affect various processes inside the cell.
