(i) When one slit is closed completely instead of a interference pattern a diffraction pattern is observed.
Central bright fringes and Other bright fringes will be observed.
(iii) Fringes will increase. Intensity of light emitted by the slits increases as the width of the slit is increased. Thus, more brighter fringes are formed at the screen on increasing the width of the slits.
