What would happen when we completely fill the tank of car with petrol then we fire it inside?

If you light fire to the petrol inside the car, obviously the car and you will go in flames. However, without lighting it, having an empty or a near empty tank is more dangerous than having a full tank. This is because an empty tank is filled with inflammable gas, which is more combustible than petrol. When the tank is filled with petrol, there is little room for gas, and hence, a lot less inflammable.
