It is corrected by spectacles or contact lenses with lenses which are 'plus' or convex in shape. Hypermetropia is also known as far sightedness . A person with hypermetropia can see nearby objects distinctly but are not able to see near by objects clearly . Convex lens if suitable power can be used to correct it
