Hey friend,
Here's your answer,
Our lives would have been unimaginable without mountains. They play a significant role in protecting the human beings from extreme weather conditions.
Now let's get back to the question,
If the Himalayas won't have been there :
1. The Northern part of India would have been experiencing extremely cold weather. Our northern frontier would have appeared like a cold barren desert just as Tibet.
2. There would have been no glaciers. Hence, we would not have any fresh water reservoir.
3. Alluvial soil could not have been able to be deposited.
4. No high rise of clouds, therefore, no precipitation. Hence, the agriculture would again be affected.
5. Chilling winds from Central Asia would adversely affect our nation.
Hope this helps!!!
