The devastating condition of Germany turned Hitler to what he is known now as. He is seen as a person who was devoid of emotions. Even if he read Gandhi's letter, he probably wouldn't have given it a second.

I mean what he did with Germany..
as he was a strong and steal hearted person so I don't think that letter could make any effect on his mind.
