What would have happened if India was not a democracy? Could we have stayed together as a single nation?

There are different people living in India who follow different religions, belong to various cultures and speak multiple languages.

Democracy has given people the freedom to follow their customs and traditions without any fear and insecurities.

All conflicts and difference can be dealt properly with the democratic government, and all people from different caste and religions have the equal rights to elect the state or central government in India.

Without democracy, we would not be able to stay together in this nation.

We we would not stay together if India was not a democracy. Actually India has a multi religion, multi linguistic, and multi cultural population. If there is not democracy in India there will be a conflict between different religion as all the people who could not have followed their religion and custom with freedom. Also the minorities group with become insecure
