ANSWER:-
WHEN ANY WORK HAD TO BE DONE , HE USED TO SAY THAT THE WORK IS VERY EASY AND HE CAN DO IT WITH EASE , HE ALSO SAID THAT THE MEMBERS CAN DEPEND ON HIM AND LEAVE THAT WORK ON HIM AND HE CAN DO ALONE . 
HE SAID THE SAME WHEN THE TASK OF HANGING THE PICTURE WAS THERE BUT

 involved all the children for hanging a single picture.

First of all he asks for ladder and then for nails and hammer.Then he could not find the mid point of the wall and hits himself with the hammer.Then after some time he found the mid point and hangs the picture.After that the wall was looking so dirty and was so much damaged too.He could not do a single work properly and harris is similar to him.

When any work was there to be done, uncle podger always claimed that he could complete any job alone without anyone's help.He would say mockingly that some people ask others for help to complete such simple tasks.In reality when uncle podger sets out to do a task he makes everyone around him do it for him by asking them to bring that and this etc.Yet in the end he pretends like he did it by himself.
