What would you do if freedom of speech is denied to you?

This is really depends on the situation:

If the country I was in is ruled by a dictator or a group of dictators, I choose leave the place first for a better country with freedom of speech, because the dictator controls the army and it can go really nasty if you stand up against it.

If the country I was in is a democratic country and it is just a temporary mistake made by the President, then I vote for freedom of speech.

No one wants to be shackled and not to live freely as pleased. Sometime I see the fear is planted so deep in people’s mind that people quickly avoid the sensitive topic before you even notice it.

If the freedom of speech is denied suddenly to you, then something really bad is happening behind the scene. It is a sign of upcoming massacres and the country leaders who stand for freedom may have already been detained or murdered.
