Answer:

If you are outdoors

Stay outside.

Go to an open area away from buildings. The most dangerous place is near exterior walls.

If you are in a crowded public place, take cover where you won't be trampled.

HOPE IT'S HELPFUL

Explanation:

On August 23, 2014, a 6.0 earthquake rocked the Napa Valley. Thankfully, there were no fatalities, but there were over 172 injuries, most of them lacerations and abrasive wounds. Since then there have been over 65 aftershocks.

Usually earthquakes happen all the time and we don’t even notice, but sometimes there are powerful earthquakes where it literally shakes the world.

It is good to be prepared for earthquakes to stay as safe as possible. So how should you practice for an earthquake?

During a earth quake drill you should look for the most protective item or object you can find, for example if in school hide under a desk of if your outside stand in the yard where electricity doesn’t travel and watch out for falling objects.

Below is a checklist of things to do if a earthquake were to happen while we were in school:

1.Drop to your knees and hands.

2.Get under your desk and cover your head and neck with your arms.

3.Stay away from glass, windows, and heavy bookcases.

4.Don’t rush to the exit.

5.If outside stay away from trees, buildings, and power lines.

6.Remember to remain quiet when assembling outside.

7.Listen carefully to adults for directions
