have always wondered what would have I done if I was the Anil Kapoor of Nayak movie and was rather made the PM of India for a day. Given a chance, i would do many things (and ofcourse I know it's way easier to say than done!).
Remove caste based reservation. Yes, this is the most imortant thing our country needs to get away with. Maybe will replace it with a 10% reservation purely on economicbasis, whether be of any caste/category
Hike in salary of Armymen. Our soldiers get very little as compared to the services they provide and the sacrifices they make. They certainly deserve a decent salary.
Increase in GDP share of health. India definitely needs to spend more GDP in health. Presently it is just about 2.5% of GDP, for a population of 132 crore. India can never grow if it does not take the health of it's citizens seriously. We should spend atleast 5–10% of the GDP to improve the health system of India. Improvement in health will lead to an overall development of the country.
Would try to solve the issue of Kashmir for once and all for the benefit of everyone. Would hold meetings with all involved parties, listen to everyone's points and would like to draw a solution giving something to everyone. Would also consider scrapping away article 370. (Again very easy to say and much much more difficult to do).
Lastly, I think the first and last points would bring a civil war like situation in the country, so to suppress it, I would be forced to declare an EMERGENCY liks situation. Hence, could continue being the PM for few more years!
I dont think so that a common man would be a prime minister
I wish I could be ....... but it was impossible
thank u for asking questions
hope it helpful for you
