We observed that the green color solution of iron sulphate changes it color and become colorless .The silver color zinc changes into black.
The equation take place as follows--
Fe2so4+zn~--~◆●znso4+2fe

When zinc is added to solution of iron sulphate, colour of the solution changes from green to colourless.
● Reaction -
When zinc is added to solution of iron sulphate, zinc displaces iron to form zinc sulphate and iron metal.
FeSO4 + Zn --> ZnSO4 + Fe
Here, zinc sulphate forms colorless solution and iron is deposited at the bottom as grey precipitate.
